Here’s a list of our vegan pet food ingredients (planet-friendly, pet-approved):
Organic whole grain ground oats, organic dried pumpkin, organic chickpea flour, organic ground chia seeds, organic wheatgrass powder, organic dried kelp, organic cranberry powder, organic basil, organic ginger

All of the basic directions you need are on the vegan cat treat baking mix package. These are simply a bit more detailed.
- PREHEAT oven to 350°F//175°C. Stir baking mix with 2/3 cup water (156 ml) or pet-friendly broth. Spread into 8-inch square silicone baking pan or silicone baking mat-lined pan.*
- BAKE 16 minutes. Cool slightly in pan on cooling rack, then transfer directly to rack to cool completely. Slice into 9 large square slabs.
- CUT one slab into 8 bark pieces. Serve each by crumbling as a meal mix-in—or try as a topper or whole as a treat.
- STORE pieces and slabs in air-tight container up to 1 day at room temp, 1 week in fridge or 6 months in freezer.
*Or line a sheet pan with parchment paper, clip to edges, spread dough forming 8-inch square, then unclip.

Suggested bark feeding guidelines based on cat size: 10 lbs or less = 1 piece/day; >10 lbs = 2-3 pieces/day

Our pouches are 100% home compostable (and plastic free!). Ideally, that means they should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and the mix should be prepared by the “best by” date. (Remember, you can freeze the prepared botanical bark for up to 6 months in the freezer!)
To compost the pouch, place the used pouch in a home or community composting bin. You can shred or cut it up to give it a head start. Find out where to compost HERE. It can also go into the regular trash to biodegrade.
