FOCUSED, ORGANIC INGREDIENTS
Peterra Kitchen® is a plant-forward company. Our baking mixes use 100% real ingredients that are 100% plant based and feature USDA Organic Certified ingredients. We choose sustainably-sourced ingredients to help assure that they don’t have a harmful impact on our climate. And we use absolutely nothing icky! In other words, Peterra Kitchen offers organic, preservative-free, healthy, natural, non-GMO treats!
ENVIRONMENTALLY-
CONSCIOUS PACKAGING
All of our pet treat packaging is made from certified home and industrial compostable materials based on plant derivatives, meaning it will naturally decompose. It’s FDA compliant for food contact. Used dog and cat baking mix pouches can be taken to a community composting center, if preferred–but shred them first since they look so much like non-compostable pouches. The films and inks used are certified for use in compostable packaging. The pouches are made in a facility that uses 100% renewable electricity. Plus, we’re plastic (and micro-plastic) free!
CLIMATE-FRIENDLY PHILANTHROPY
We donate to causes that focus on the health of our planet. This year two organizations that we support are National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and One Tree Planted.
